Regenerative chatter is a serious problem in machining. It an unstable relative vibration between the workpiece and cutting tool that adversely affects virtually all chip formation processes. This paper addresses regenerative grinding, which one of most widely used abrasive processes today. As result significant wear surface regeneration (which prerequisite for chatter) can occur not only on but also grinding wheel. article concerned with mechanism by wheel-related instability develops. In present study, role distributed grit dullness alone explored. A new model formulated validated both numerical simulations experimental data. The theory accurately predicts existence stable regimes first time. contrast to published literature where consensus has been cannot be respect wheel regeneration. Consequently, contribution enables novel opportunity increase productivity industrial operations.
